Nothing compares to this sandwich shop. Not any of them in Jax! Fresh yummy mouth watering delicious sandwiches. I can't get enough of the club on a sub. Great kids menu too. I love Firehouse Subs. I always get the same thing--Hook & Ladder, fully involved. Yum! This location was busy! We were there around 1pm and it was still packed! The cashier was grumpy--someone needed to tell her to smile!

First time at Firehouse subs and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the beef and cheddar brisket. It was AMAZING! The meat was juicy and tender. Good amount of perfectly melted cheese on a soft white (or wheat if you prefer) sub. The bread is narrower than your usual sub sandwich place but longer (in the smaller size). You choose between 8" and 12". My boyfriend got the steak and cheese and absolutely drooled over it the whole time. Additionally, they had the fountain soda with 100+ options. Coke, diet coke, root beer, lemonade, etc then you choose the plain variety or add vanilla, cherry, orange, or raspberry flavoring.

Horrible Service in Fleming Island!! There are 5 people behind the counter, one shift lead named Nance, 1 running the register and 3 moving as slow as molasses and 1 who strolled out of the back. The "shift lead", blonde curly hair girl, is chatting and laughing it up with her fellow employee, Jordan, without acknowledging the lunch wave while all the time barely moving and could care less about the line, orders or service. I can't imagine she got promoted based on her customer service. Extremely poor service. Not what I've come to expect from firehouse subs in other areas.

Ordered a sub with no cheese for my son. I kept checking on it. Everyone else got their subs, but not him. So they start to make it. I ask her again, no cheese, right? So they bring it out....CHEESE!!! Now everyone is finished eating and he still hasn't gotten his meal!! They don't care! The manager doesn't care!! We will NOT be going back!
